The Dalyan (Turtle Beach) and Koycegiz Lake tour is top-rated among our visitors. There are a lot of activities to participate in throughout the excursion. The beautiful Koycegiz Lake between Dalyan and Marmaris is a must-see attraction. You will visit the Mud Baths at Sultaniye on board a boat through the Koycegiz Lake. The combination of hot springs water with minerals such as sulfur and mud is lots of fun.
The tour starts with pick-up from the hotel at 8.30 am and finish with returning to your hotel around 5:00 p.m. The journey begins in Marmaris and ends at Koycegiz village, which takes 45 minutes by bus. You will be transferred to riverboats once you arrive, and you will travel across the famous Koycegiz lake to reach Sultaniye mud baths. The thermal waters, mud baths and hot waters provide several hidden health advantages. Your friends or relatives may have a fantastic time playing in the mud baths with you. You will be fed a specially prepared local dinner after you’ve had enough fun.
The boat then travels along with the beautiful scenery and reaches the beach. While you’re looking at the Temple Tombs, your tour guide will tell you several stories and legends connected with this lovely place on the way, and you can view the ancient Rock Tombs at Caunos’ city site. After that, you’ll go to Turtle Beach (Iztuzu beach), which faces the Mediterranean Sea. You may swim in the freshwater lake just off the beach, and if you’re lucky enough, you might see turtles swimming on the sand. The entire MARMARI’S TURTLE BEACH TOUR is carried out through nature’s most natural environment.
Koycegiz is a beautiful touristic settlement known for its stunning tectonic lake. Beautiful lakeside cruise boats sail through gorgeous water, offering the best mix of green and blue hues imaginable. Being on this tranquil body of water provides you with a unique combination of emotions that you haven't felt in a long time. Koycegiz Lake has a surface area of 5200 hectares, making it one of the biggest lakes in Aegean, Turkey. This smooth body of water gets its source from the Dalaman River and thermal springs, which sustain many endemic species such as loggerhead turtles, Nile turtles, kingfishers, egrets, pine and sweetgum forests.
Playing in the mud baths in Dalyan is a lot of fun. After visiting these mud baths, some individuals claim to feel ten years younger. It is supposed that taking a mud bath here has health benefits. Don't be concerned!!! There are showers located nearby where you may wash the mud off yourself before leaving this location.
The Iztuzu beach is widely known as the ‘Turtle Beach with Golden Sands.' This 7 km long stretch of beachfront is one of the last nesting sites for the extinct Loggerhead Caretta Caretta Sea Turtles. Between a lake (freshwater) and a sea (salty water), this unique beach resides.
As you journey from Koycegiz Lake to Turtle Beach, you will encounter the famed temple tombs of Caunos' ancient city. We'll come to a complete stop in front of these incredible ruins. Your tour guide will tell you about the history of these old graves dating back to the 4th century BC while taking photographs nearby.
An outstanding share! I've just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been doing a little research on this. And he actually ordered me dinner simply because I stumbled upon it for him... lol. So allow me to reword this.... Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending some time to talk about this topic here on your web page. https://bit.ly/4fsqvbH
